About the Department

Department Overview

The Information Technology (IT) Department plays a critical role in supporting the delivery of high-quality cancer care through reliable digital systems and robust technology infrastructure.

The department manages and maintains the Hospital Information System (HIS), ensuring seamless integration of clinical, administrative, and diagnostic workflows across the hospital.

The IT team is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the hospital’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, data storage, cybersecurity systems, and cloud platforms.

The department consists of 9 dedicated team members with a versatile mix of software, network, and hardware expertise, supporting everything from core clinical applications to CCTV surveillance and enterprise-grade hardware.

Key Achievements

Successfully implemented a new Hospital Information System (HIS) in June 2025, replacing the legacy application, resulting in a smoother, more modern EMR workflow.
Implemented Patient ID Card and Patient portal for appointments, rescheduling, and viewing lab reports/bills.
ABDM Integration with HIS and issuance of ABHA Numbers for seamless treatments across hospitals.
Medsynapse PACS software implementation for Radiology.
