2. Prof. P.V. Sukhatme award by the Indian Society for Medical Statistics 2010 for the paper “Cure models for estimating hospital-based breast cancer survival” which appeared in Asian Pac J Cancer Prev. 2010, as the author of the best published paper on applied statistics in general, with special reference to nutrition, health, medical or biological sciences which appeared in a reputed journal during the two calendar years preceding the year of the annual conference of the society.
